Hurricane Panels

Light weight - Aluminum panels are significantly lighter and easier to install than steel panels. Each panel is of a corrugated design that overlaps each adjacent panel to provide a strong barrier against hurricane conditions.

Most affordable - Hurricane panels are typically the least expensive type of Miami-Dade County and Florida code approved hurricane shutter.

Clear Panels – Clear hurricane panels allow light to enter the home while still providing protection. Clear panels are more expensive, thicker, and have some size limitations compared to metal shutters.

Mounting options - Panels can be installed horizontally or vertically and attached to your home using a variety of fasteners and tracks depending on installation requirements.

Custom shapes - Aluminum and clear panels can be custom cut for arched windows and other openings where there is limited clearance to attached a full panel.

Installation and removal - Storm panels are typically stored in a garage and must be carried and manually installed prior to a storm. Depending on the size, number, and location of your windows and doors, installation times for an entire home can range from one hour to one day. Removing the panels typically takes about half that time.
